This of-the-earth inspired blend is made with toasted manoomin (meaning wild rice in Ojibwe) that’s harvested in the lakes of Northern Canada. And to give it that home-baked apple pie taste, we added sweet apple pieces, cozy cinnamon and warming nutmeg—so scrumptious! Packed in a limited-edition tin by Anishinaabe artist Emily Kewageshig, this tea gives back 10% of proceeds to the Native Women’s Association of Canada.

MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE APPLE TEAAAAA!! i have been hunting and hunting for a good one for years and years, this one hits every note i adore, please never get rid of it, i will be so so sad to see it go, and i love the Collab with Indigenous businesses, the tin itself is beautiful!! the wild rice is nutty and homey and makes for a gorgeous base for the tea!

I ssssso wanted to like this. . . . . . . however, this blend is too nutmeg- and clove-forward for my liking. I had to experiment with different sweeteners (which I typically don't use at all) as well as extra cinnamon. I will enjoy refilling the beautifully decorated tin with other blends of loose leaf tea.
