Within the highlands of Malawi, Africa, lies a third-generation family-owned tea garden with an eye for quality and innovation. Their latest creation? Barrel Aged Malawi, a rich & malty black tea naturally scented over the course of several weeks in whisky barrels from a small distillery in Cape Town, South Africa. The result is an alcohol-free but still deeply aromatic blend with notes of oak, stewed red fruits, warming spices and a lingering finish of caramelized sugars that only seems to deepen as you sip. We’re thrilled to carry this limited-edition blend made in very small batches.

Where's the taste? I think it tastes okay but it is so hard to tell b/c the taste is so light I am not sure. Not at all as described. Very disappointing.

Disappointing Very weak - Not getting any of the described "fruit, warm spice, caramel or oak" notes & minimal aroma. Much prefer Kenyan Tinderet or even the David's Breakfast Blend. Also noted that our tea package indicated "Medium" caffeine but the website shows "High".

IN-CROY-ABLE DAVIDsTEA n'a pas beaucoup de the traditionnel , mais quand ils en ont, ils sont tout simplement incroyable. The noir delicat, aux notes soutenus de petits fruits rouges, legerement fume et mineral. Un tres bel ajout a votre collection de thes traditionnels.
